Building Discipleship: Growing in Love of God and Love of Neighbor

Faith formation is a lifelong journey for each Christian.  Opportunities for building our faith and becoming more intentional disciples of Jesus Christ arise at many different points along our journey, some shared, and some on our own.  At St. Peter's, we offer opportunities for faith formation throughout the year, for all ages.

Children & Families

We welcome children at St. Peter's!  Simply by bringing your children to church, you are beginning to provide them with lifelong faith formation, and we want to encourage you in every way that we can. Whether you are bringing children into a worship service, participating in one of our formation activities, or looking for resources to learn more, know that you and your children are welcome here!

Youth

We offer multiple opportunities for our youth to gather in prayer, fellowship, and service.  Events are scheduled throughout the program year.  All high school students are invited to attend, and we frequently include our middle school Confirmation students in these events as well.  Our goal is to create a safe and nurturing space for our youth to explore and begin their journey in a community of faith, and to see how God is working in their lives.

Adults

St. Peter's provides worship, ministries, and formation opportunities for people at all stages in their Christian journey. Adults are invited to participate in weekly LIFE 2.1 events, as mentors to confirmands, and in a variety of smaller group formation activities such as the Good Book Club, Panera Chats, Daughters of the King (for women), and the Brotherhood of St. Andrew (for men).

Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.
